June has been a very intensive month in Easypromos and, as a result, we have incorporated new features and improvements in all our products. For example, we have launched a new type of promotion, ‘Customer loyalty rewards’, intended to run exclusive promotions for a specific audience. Additionally, users that enter a video contest can now participate from their Instagram account, thanks to the Instagram support that we have integrated in our video contest application. 1. New options to configure the entry form of Easypromos
Depending on the type of promotion or contest you want to organize and the objectives you have set, administrators can set up the entry form that users have to fill in. For example, the administrator can decide which information to ask the user and thus enable the predefined fields accordingly, such as email, city etc. Additionally, if they want to ask the user additional information, in Premium and White Label versions of Easypromos administrators have the opportunity to add additional fields, which can be text fields or dropdown lists. In Basic version, the additional fields can be bought as an extension.
With the aim to offer more tools to customize the promotions, in Easypromos we have developed new features to enable administrators to set up the entry form according to their needs. Up to now, additional fields were obligatory for the users that registered in the promotion. In order to give the user some more liberty when completing the registration, administrators can now make these fields optional for the user, so that we let the user decide whether they want to answer or not.
Additionally, we can also decide if we want to make the content of the additional fields public and, therefore, visible for all the users, or if we prefer to keep the answers of our participants private. Up to now, the content of all the additional fields was only accessible to administrators.
As we can see in the image below, when administrators add a new text field or a dropdown list, they will have different configuration options:

2. Instagram video support in video contests
The Instagram platform has recently launched the opportunity to record videos up to 15 seconds. In Easypromos, as one of our new features, we have already implemented video support for Instagram videos in our platform and we have integrated videos into our video contest application. The system is the same as photo contests: you’ll only need to enable a hashtag for your campaign and all the videos tagged with this hashtag will automatically be imported and appear in the public gallery of the contest.

3. New type of promotion: Customer loyalty rewards
We begin July with a new type of promotion in Easypromos: ‘Customer loyalty rewards’ promotions. This kind of loyalty program app allow administrators to develop promotional activities aimed exclusively at the customers of a brand or product. With a very simple system, which consists of the validation of a code that a user writes in the entry form, this type of contest allows to carry out sweepstakes and promotions aimed at a specific public or a closed group, since only participants who have a valid code will be able to enter the prize draw.
Whether if you are a store and want to build loyalty with your customers with an exclusive sweepstakes, or you manage an online store and want to offer discounts to the users that buy some of your products, with this new system you’ll be able to reward your costumers with exclusive promotions, while converting your offline community into an online one.

4. Copy a promotion to use it in the following campaigns
In all Easypromos versions – Basic, Premium and White Label -, administrators have now the ‘copy promotion’ option. With this new functionality you’ll be able to duplicate a promotion or contest you have created, so that you can use it in your future campaigns.
This way, if you have run a contest with successful results and wish to repeat the action, with the ‘copy’ function you’ll save time and work, since the ‘copy’ function keeps the characteristics of the original promotion (images, texts, settings, etc.), but copies will appear without users registered. This will enable to launch a new promotion in minutes: you can copy any promotion you have, whether they are already closed or already active.

5. Download the photos of the entrants in a ZIP file
With the aim of improving the tools to manage and moderate the entries in photo contests created with Easypromos, we have included the opportunity to download the original photos sent by the users. This way, once the contest is closed, the administrator will be able to recover the photos submitted by the users to the application and download them into a ZIP file. The images will have the same size and format as the original photos sent by the users.
This option is available in all Easypromos versions – Basic, Premium and White Label.
