Frequently asked questions

Can I review the photos in the contest before they are published in the public gallery?

Yes, the photos that the users upload to participate in the Photo Contest can be moderated, including the ones that come from the integrations with Twitter and Instagram. 

Can I keep the photos that the contestants upload in the contest?

Yes. You can download the images in a ZIP file in 'large' format, which has a maximum width of 700px. If you want the photos in their original size, you can enable the Dropbox extension

Can I use the participants' photos for marketing actions, content, etc.?

Yes, as long as you have provided for it and you have the express consent of the participants. You must explain the use you will make of the images in the terms & conditions of the contest, and get the users consent for you to use that content directly and expressly, for example with a checkbox. We recommend that you prepare it in advance and get legal advice to develop this aspect well before starting the contest.

Can I run a contest where participants can upload photo or video?

Yes, in the Photo and Video contests you can allow users to participate with a video or a photo. This way, in the contest gallery you'll see both videos and photos from the same promotion.

Can I integrate my photo contest with Instagram and Twitter?

Yes, in the Photo Contest you can enable the integration with Twitter and Instagram. The integration works separately for each social network so you can decide which platform you want to import the content from: only Twitter, only Instagram or both. This integration allows import of photos that users post on their public profile with the campaign hashtag and a mention of the organizing brand.
